Must be 18 years of age or over. Must provide drivers licence or other photo identification which contains photo, date of birth and signature.
Basic English, literacy and numeracy skills at a level sufficient to read and interpret workplace documentation.
Upon enrolment a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Assessment must be completed.
Any pre-study received MUST be read and completed in FULL prior to attending on the day. This will be a requirement to your course and there is an expectation that this is completed.
• Assess loads and materials
• General skid steer operations
• Load, carry and place materials
• Select, remove and fit attachments
• Parking and shutdown
• Carry out operator maintenance
• Relocate skid steer
Assessment of this unit is done via the completion of a written assessment, observation of practical assessment activities including the completion of workplace documentation.
The assessment will be conducted in English without the use of an interpreter. The outcome of the assessment will be Competent or Not Yet Competent. If you are Not Yet Competent your trainer will provide you feedback and you will have the opportunity to resit the assessment.

Learners Must:
